We'd like to welcome our most recent Explorer to our team, Brandon Ward!
Like Katin, Brandon was born in the heart of Huntington Beach, Calif. At only a few weeks old, Brandon moved to the North Shore of Oahu where he grew up to become a true waterman. By the age of 7 Brandon had a;ready learned to surf serious waves atop his dads longboard. After spending his childhood in Hawaiian waters, it seemed only essential that he truly embraced the waterman life, leading him to one of his greatest passions; spearfishing.
Spending his adolescent years boating, fishing and spearfishing, Brandon looked up to one of the most elite fishing clubs in Southern California, The Long Beach Neptunes. After a few of his diving buddies brought him to a club meeting in 2011, Brandon was voted in and his dream of belonging to the Neptunes came true. Brandon was even voted onto there board of directors for the club, making it his third year on the board in 2016.
When Brandon’s not above or below sea level, he can be caught snowboarding, dabbling in motocross, riding his Harley across U.S., or wrenching in the garage. To Brandon, being a Katin Explorer defines who he is and who he strives to be. “To always be searching for that next life changing experience.
