Pat R. Notaro III, a cinematographer living in Los Angeles was raised on Southern California’s core - surfing and skateboarding. With generations of family roots in the entertainment industry, Pat quickly found his interest behind the lens. He graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography, making his way through all camera department positions to Director of Photography. Pat's photography talents are extremely versatile, specializing in commercials, VFX, branded content and action sports. Shortly after losing his father in 2000, Pat was introduced to Surfers Healing Autism when Variety - The Children's Charity decided to host the first "Surfers Healing Autism Pat Notaro Day" in Malibu, CA. In the organizations early stages, Pat donated his time as a surf instructor, all the while doing what came naturally - documenting the events. After a close family member was diagnosed with autism, Pat followed his rapidly growing interest in autism and its growing epidemic and eventually joined forces with two other organizations founded by close friends. Pat then went on to found, non-profit, surf therapy organization, A Walk On Water, inspired by a desire to evolve the care and treatment options provided to families of special needs children. Providing support to Pat are his lovely wife Kameron, and two beautiful children - Lulu and Sully. When Pat isn’t out on the water with A Walk On Water or creatively filming the world around him, Pat enjoys spending time with his family, surfing and skateboarding together.
